Astronomical Society based in
Hervey Bay on Queensland's Fraser coast. Originally established as
a casual observing group in late 2008 we formally incorporated in
January 2010.
With a deep interest in all
things space and the science of astronomy from telescopes to observing the night
sky and even photographing it. We have monthly observing
sessions and open public education nights at various times
throughout the year.
The society is comprised of beginners to
advanced.
Newcomers are more than welcome
to attend.
